MEET THE TEAM
Chris ware
Chris Ware, gym owner, ex professional boxer and founder of the award winning Funky Pump Fitness franchise which was launched in Swansea South Wales in 2006 and spread across South Wales with 11 venues across the M4 corridor and pop up venues in Cornwall, Glasgow and Bristol.
What started of as a style of fitness class in night clubs has now evolved into a dynamic multi faced fitness franchise which has many arms to the business all under ‘Ware-House Gyms’ brand.
The award winning ‘Ware-House’ brand has a variety of fitness concepts operating under its umbrella.
Guerrilla Fitness founded in 2009 as a unique way to deliver fitness which I quote
‘Guerrilla fitness is an unconventional process of fitness training that relies on timing, energy, and imagination rather than predictable methods or expensive machinery’
With the rise in popularity in fitness competitions it’s no wonder Guerrilla Games has quickly become the biggest most popular competition in Wales with plans all ready in place for international competitions starting in Ibiza in 2025.
dylan richards
Dylan has been a personal trainer and fitness instructor in the gym for 15 years. Coming from a sporting background, he has taken that enthusiasm into fitness competitions in other gyms, Hyrox events and most notably Athx where he has won regional events and placed nationally.
Starting and running Guerilla Games 1 & 2 along side Chris in 2024, both events have sold out and there is now massive potential to scale the competition going forward.
keri hughes
Keri has been a Personal Trainer & fitness instructor at Ware-house Gym for 17 years. From day one to now keri eats, sleeps and breaths the industry. Keri was a pioneer in the fitness industry being one of the first to upload content on YouTube in 2009/10. His unique videos of him training caught the attention of international supplement brands who still continue to support him to this day.
Keri Competed in Olympic lifting winning multiple national & regional events. He then diversified and competed for several years bodybuilding again being very successful. With the rise in popularity in fitness competitions it was the natural path for Keri to take. Success in regional and national Athex & crossfit style competitions, and more recently adding hyrox competitions. Keri gained a qualifying spot in the world Hyrox championship in his first hyrox race early 2023 and has competed in 5 since. Competitively taking part in what seems like countless competitions since 2012, Keri’s knowledge on competition set ups and protocols is invaluable to the Guerrilla Games team. With an active involvement of the first ever warehouse Guerilla fitness challenge in 2009 his experience is priceless.
